The ONECCA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Cameroon) is a non-profitable organization, acting as the state representative by assuring the technical and ethical regulations of his members. His members play a leading role in the investors and clients decisions taken. That is why they accompany investors are clients throughout their projects upstream and downstream and sometimes until the possible liquidation…besides for its public policy efficiency, ONECCA’s members accompany the state in his search of good financial governance. Moreover the institute of chartered accountants host renewed training institutes for those wish to pursue accounting studies. It also guides trainees in capacity building to acquire a high degree of competence and professional experience making them specialist of the organisational growth. The institute inspired by the best excellence standard in its approach of disciplinary proceedings, regulates the work and the business conducted by its members.
The accountancy profession’s responsibility is to work for the general interest. As such, a professional accountant does not limit himself exclusively to satisfy the customer.
